During pregnancy, humans are exposed to thousands of chemicals. Many of these chemicals are harmful to the mother and developing baby. Our research—which coalesces elements of developmental toxicology, genomics, environmental health and reproductive sciences—aims to identify chemicals hazardous to human pregnancy and the underlying mechanisms that contribute to developmental disease.
