Joshua Robinson, PhD
Dr. Robinson is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Reproductive Sciences at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). His experience includes a MS and PhD in (developmental) toxicology from the University of Washington and over six years of postdoctoral training at the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) in the Netherlands and UCSF.

Hao Chen, PhD
Dr. Chen is a Postdoctoral Fellow and PhD graduate from UC Davis (Pharmacology and Toxicology). At UCSF, he is gaining expertise in human developmental biology and state-of-the-art proteomic methodologies in relation to the field of developmental toxicology working with Dr. Susan Fisher and Dr. Joshua Robinson. He was recently awarded the competitive K99 Pathway of Independence Award to investigate the effects of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) on human placental development.

Unurzul Jigmeddagva
Unurzul is Staff Research Associate and former graduate from the Mongolian National University of Medical Science (BS, Medicine). In 2019-2020 she completed the competitive City College of San Francisco California (CCSF) Institute for Regenerative Medicine (CIRM) Stem Cell Program working in Dr. Robinson's laboratory. She is involved in two key projects: 1) developing in vitro chemical screens for developmental toxicity; and 2) the COVID19 PRIORITY UCSF study.

Sanah Basrai
Sanah is a third year undergraduate at UC Berkeley studying public health. She is interested in learning how research can illuminate the relationship between the environment and women's health. In the Robinson Lab, she is assisting in a project aimed at understanding the toxic effects of heavy metals in the human placenta.

Nikita Katukota
Nikita is second year undergraduate at UC Berkeley. She is majoring in Molecular and Cell Biology with an emphasis on Neurobiology. Long-term, she is pursuing a career as an orthopedic surgeon. In the Robinson Lab, she is gaining experience in basic research and topics pertaining to human pregnancy and risk factors such as heavy metal exposures.

Alizah Ali
Alizah is a medical student at Morehouse School of Medicine (entering second year in fall, 2020). She is interested in pursuing a residency in OB/GYN and a PhD in health informatics or reproductive sciences. As a summer volunteer, she is studying the relationship between pesticide exposures and human pregnancy complications.

Ngantu Le
Ngantu is a medical student at University of Nevada-Reno (entering second year in fall, 2020). She is interested in the areas of obstetrics, gynecology and neurosurgery. As a summer volunteer, she is contributing to a project examining the suspected role of organophosphate pesticide exposures in human pregnancy complications such as preterm labor.

Megan Chdiboy
Megan is a fourth year undergraduate at UC Berkeley and a full-time member of the US Air Force. As a volunteer in the Gaw and Robinson laboratories, she is contributing to projects relating to environmental exposures/infectious agents and developmental disease.

Mosana Abraha
Mosana is a fourth year undergraduate majoring in Biomedical Engineering and Health Sciences at McMaster University (Canada). She plans to pursue a graduate degree in public health/informatics as she prepares for medical school. As a summer volunteer in the Gaw and Robinson laboratories, she learning about research in infectious disease and reproductive health.

Lillian Lau
Lily is a Clinical Research Coordinator within the UCSF Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences and a volunteer in the Robinson Lab. She has interests in toxicology, immunology and reproductive sciences and will enter graduate school at Johns Hopkins University in the Fall of 2020.
